I don’t know about you, but I take more baths in the winter than I do in the summertime, but when I do take a summer bath, I want it to count. Know what I mean?
The DIY recipe for these cashmere bath bombs is made with cashmere fragrance oil and REAL cashmere from Bramble Berry.

1 Cup Cornstarch
½ Cup Dead Sea Salts

DIRECTIONS
Cozy Cashmere Bath Bomb
- While wearing a mask, in a large mixing bowl of a stand mixer, add baking soda.
- In a separate container, measure and combine water and dye. Any color dye can be used. I used Emerald Isle. Add to mixer, and whisk until there are no white specks.
- Add all remaining dry ingredients, EXCEPT citric acid, to bowl of mixer. Whisk until combined.
- In a separate container, measure shea butter, cocoa butter, and apricot kernel oil together in a microwave safe container.
- Melt together in microwave on short bursts of 20-30 seconds, stirring with a spoon between each burst. Set aside.
- In a separate container, combine Cashmere oil, Cashmere fragrance oil, and Polysorbate 80.
- Once the butter and apricot kernel oil mixture has cooled slightly, combine with the fragrance oil/liquid cashmere/polysorbate 80. Stir.
- With stand mixer on setting 2 or 3, using the paddle attachment, add liquids to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. You can remove mask.
- While still mixing, add citric acid to mixture, ½ cup at a time.10. If the mixture begins to react, increase the speed of the mixer until the reaction
stops. Mix approximately two minutes, until thoroughly combined. - Scoop bath bomb mixture into both sides of stainless steel mold, overfilling. Squeeze together, rubbing away excess. Lift up one side and then the other. IF the bomb doesn’t release, don’t twist – gently tap mold with spoon or knife to release.
**Humidity levels will affect this recipe. My humidity was 53%**
**Number of bombs depends on size and shape of your mold**
POLYSORBATE 80 HELPS TO DISPERSE THE BUTTER AND OILS SO THEY DON’T STICK TO THE TUB, BUT YOU SHOULD STILL USE CAUTION WHEN ENTERING AND EXITING SO YOU DON’T SLIP!!
